Understanding sterling silver
925 sterling silver is a silver alloy containing 92.5% silver. The remaining alloying material and any separately described stones or finish should be understood from the product details. Sterling silver can tarnish over time; the rate depends on exposure and care. A sterling silver description is not a promise of permanent shine or suitability for every skin sensitivity.
Every piece bears a 925 fineness stamp. Every jewellery box includes a physical authenticity card issued by ZILVERIX as the brand’s assurance of the stated material. Our products can easily pass BIS hallmark but the current products are not BIS-hallmarked, and the brand card is not an independent assay certificate.
Caring for your jewellery
- Keep pieces away from perfumes, lotions, cleaning chemicals, swimming pools and salt water. Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming or strenuous exercise.
- Store clean, dry pieces separately in a suitable dry pouch or container to reduce scratches and tangling.
- Wipe gently with a clean, soft cloth after wear. Avoid abrasive polishing or chemical cleaners on plated finishes, pearls or delicate stones unless the product’s care instructions specifically allow it.
- Handle chains, clasps, settings and adjustable pieces gently. Do not repeatedly bend or force an item beyond its stated adjustment range.

Warranty and product problems
We do not currently provide an extended commercial replacement warranty or a free replating service. This does not remove your legal rights if an item is defective, misdescribed, not authentic as sold or otherwise fails to match the agreed order.
Wear, scratches, tarnish or accidental damage require assessment in context; we do not automatically treat every complaint as normal wear.
